This is not a technically good photo, but I wanted to honor my
very favorite waiter in the world, Jason, who is in the original
musical drama Star of the Hills, based on the history of Wimberley at the EmilyAnn Theatre.

He plays Koo-Noo-Na, a Tonkawa brave….the Tonkawa were the first
residents of Wimberley. In this photo Koo-Noo-Na is naming his daughter,
“Morning Star”. Jason is not a professional, but he did a great job
.....and he brightens my day each time I walk into Juan Henry's!
Behind Jason is Pria, who plays Lone Woman.
She has an absolutely beautiful singing voice and a powerful stage presence.
