DSCN8974

The yellow butterflies are really difficult for me to identify. This may be a Little Sulpher...they do come to this area.
If anyone knows different, please tell me.
It's on a Mexican Flame Vine, that much I know for sure. And it has a really cute face!

That butterfly has great dress sense, so colour co-ordinated :>)
Wonderful photo.

Very beautiful shot -- he sure picked a great set and background to pose for you. I'm sure it's a Sulpher of some sort (as you knew). I'm not sure where you're located, but here's a couple of pictures you might compare this one to, and see what you think: Orange Sulpher:http://tdpc01.fnal.gov/peterson/tom/Butterflies/OrangeSulphur.html and Little Yellow:http://tdpc01.fnal.gov/peterson/tom/Butterflies/LittleYellow.html. I was doing some investigation for some winged thing that I found and came across the Fermilab site for Butterflies in Illinois. The color on your fellow is gorgeous, though -- much prettier and intense than either of the two links above.
