I completed my first full year of PAD today. I would like to thank you for your comments and encouragement over the past year. THANK YOU !
One of the best photo collections here.
Impressive I must say.
Just wanted to comment about your family shots.
Brought back a bit of meloncholy.
I miss the gatherings.
Good energy from your photos.
The matriach is beautiful.
I especially like the shots that have silly faces then next shot is serious.
I used to do that with my family.
Those shots are fun.
I enjoyed looking through your photos.
Very interesting gallery.
Thank you for your visit and encouraging feedback. I decided against going to Lost Maples after the heavy winds on Wednesday as that probably guaranteed most of the colorful leaves were on the ground. According to the LM website, the leaves were falling as soon as they were turning. Maybe next year...
Thank you for the kind words on my bee macro, I love your shot titled "Bee having a look at a passion flower" it is excellent and have voted for it.
Looking through your gallerys you have so many amazing photos, the Zebra is excellent.
I am new to photography (less than 2 months) and to have someone with your talents provide such a good comment means a lot
Hi there..love your galleries especially the black and white gallery..I think you have a great style. Hope to see more...kind regards..Lorraine
I saw your photos of South Padre Island. Do you stay there during the winter? I know where to Saida Towers. We can see it each Sunday as we drive to SPI Baptist Church. We stay during the winter months at Port Isabel, across the causeway going east at long Island Village. Write by email email@example.com or BUHRTX413@aol.com
Petesie, I have been looking at your photos for several months now( I work with your son- Dr.Theis at North Central Baptist Hospital in labor and delivery) and i love your work, esp. the flowers and butterflies. So I tried to shoot a few,( I started about last July) I had a SONY Cybershot, ( now deceased) and have recently bought a Nikon 4500 from EBAY. I wondered if, in the spring, I might get some pointers from you. I haven't practiced much with the Nikon. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I admire all of your work. I am also new to pbase.
Thanks for visting my gallery. I really enjoyed your butterflies and sunrise/sunsets. Neat colour and cloud effects.
Great idea of Photo reject. You are talented. Keep up the good work.
Petesie, thanks for the comment on my spider at
I'll have a photo of the flower linked under the spider photo tomorrow evening. Your galleries show an amazing eye for good shots! Pierre.
Thank you very much for your recent comments and taking the time to go through my galleries...greatly appreciated! You've got a wonderful collection of images...and sooo many! Your sunsets/sunrises galleries are simply gorgeous...and a very nice b&w gallery. I'll certainly be checking back often so I can have a chance to go through more of your galleries. Thanks again!
Petesie, I was very saddened to hear about John. Between the 15 hour days this month and a hard drive failure I have haven't had much time for Pbase. I hope every thing is going as well as it can. You and John will still be in my prayers. God bless you and your family.
Very nice photos. Your site is great!

Hi Petesie: Lots of us are wondering about you and praying for you and John.
Hi there. Mom (Lorrie) finally sent me the link. I love the pictures! Makes me really want to come see you guys! Love, Cathleen
Hi...I'm so glad you enjoyed your virtual visit to Wisconsin; I feel like I know a little about your neck of the woods when I look at you fabulous photos...
I think you do OK with your "little camera," as evidenced by your many butterfly photos. It's tough to get those....good job!! and, thanks for your wonderful comments in my galleries...
petesie, I know a picture is worth a thousand words, but I love the fact that you include the story that goes with the picture. I've added you to my favorites because I enjoyed your work so much. I'm also from Texas.
Thanks for galleries. Your presence has confirmed our decision to continue our relationship with pBase.com.
Hi..thanks for your nice comments on my pearl crescent photo...I only hope to do as well as you do with the butterflys. It's supposed to be butterfly heaven this year...
Hi Petesie. Cyril has shown everyone his picture with Sam. Keep up your excellent photography. It makes me feel as if I'm right there in your garden or watching another beatiful sunrise.
Love ya, Marge
They are all brilliant, my favourites are 'Butterflies' and 'Garden' such quality and content.
Well all i can say is that your photographs are absolutely wonderful.Looking forward to seeing more. The Sunsets are so beautiful.....More please
You have some beautiful images here, but something more besides. Once in a while I'll come across a gallery where I feel comfortable just wandering around, and I certainly did here. There's no cold studio or staged air to your pictures; they feel welcoming and organic. It was a real joy to visit.
What a wonderfully beautiful family you have. Such love and happiness expressed thru the photos you have shared. Continue cherishing, capturing and sharing those moments.
Some wonderful stuff here. Thanks for sharing. Your sunset and sunrise photos from your backyard rival anything I've seen on pBase.
Exactly where is Wimberley? I'm guessing Australia.
