THE TRAIL OF LIGHTS AT THE EMILY ANN THEATER, WIMBERLEY, TEXAS
The Trail of Lights is a spectacular sight. The wonderful thing about it is the displays are done, not by professionals, but by schools, churches, organizations, businesses, and families in Wimberley. It has grown year after year. Every evening the "Yule Log" is held through January 1. We toast marshmallows, drink hot chocolate, sing songs around the yule fire. It is a gathering place....no matter your faith. On December 8, the first night of Hanukkah, Austin news anchors Judy Maggio and Jeff Eliasoph will return for the second year to sing Jewish prayers and light the first candle of the Menorah. Our community comes together to celebrate our wonderful valley. Tonight (November 27) was the lighting of the trail and the Tree at the top. Read about the Emily Ann....it is a wonderful story of love and devotion of a family and a village.
