Skagit Flats, WA, USA is an aluvial flood plain at the mouth of the Skagit River, emptying out of the Cascade Mts of Washington State, USA. It is the overwintering home to 30-40,000 Snow Geese, 1000's of Trumpeter and Tundra Swans, many different Raptors and 1000's of numerous shore birds. And 100's of Bald Eagles congregate on the river in Winter to feast on the Salmon and on the flats where they take many ducks.
