This 1942 bridge over the Tiber River was named after Prince Amedeo, Duke of Aosta, who was the Viceroy and governor-general of occupied Ethiopia during WW2.
In the back is the Basilica di San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini dedicated to John the Baptist.
