Outside the Sekkatei Teahouse 夕佳亭 is a rock for VIPs to sit on (貴人榻). It is supposed to have the best view of sunset over the Golden Pavilion.
Since this was early afternoon, we settled for posed photographs. Besides, seasonal plant growth blocked the view.
