I have been to Bow Lake but in the late morning at the wrong time of the day and with lots of cloud cover. I would love to have seen the spectacular version that you have photographed so perfectly. Great work to get this! Vote

There is a lot one could say about this image. If you talk about composition yes it is excellent. If you talk about color and exposure yes it is superb. If you talk about light yes magnificent. After including all these elements, which are all important and certainly there,. what does this do for the viewer's soul to hold his or her interest. It is all of these elements coming together. for the viewer, so that they can ponder the beauty time after time after time. Coming back again and again to hold them captive to the image and for the moment to dream and to place themselves there at that very precise moment in time. That is what this image does to me....Voted...

great shot. V!

This is a lovely image, the composition immediately catches the eye, because, I think, of all the triangles echoing one another: the right angled triangle in the bottom left, the isosceles of the shadow around the far edge of the lake, the shape of the lake itself, just one edge off a triangle, then there is another one between the driftwood and the edge of the water--this one is equilateral!! Such an interesting picture geometrically, and on top of that beautiful light and sharpness. Great work. v

What Beautiful Morning Light! GMV

Peter, few people capture the "Morning Glory" better than you imho so this image is really quite special for me. The golden glow emphasizing the mountain texture and cascading across the foreground reflection on the water is just"magnificent!"
