A friend and I went to Revelstoke to shoot the Perseid Meteor Shower
from the summit of Mt. Revelstoke. The National Parks Admin kept the
park open for this purpose. Unfortunately we were there a day early. :)
As it turned out thunderstorms had moved into the region and we didn't
see the stars anyway. Before we made the 1.5 hour drive home we stopped
at this small park on the riverside. It was pitch black, we were trying to
frame using two small flashlights. I hoped for the best, opened
the shutter and nature provided the illumination.
Not a stellar shot by any stretch of the imagination but i enjoyed the weather.
