This is a bird I never really expected to see. It occurs annually deep inside of Thung Yai Nareusoan wild life sanctuary in the Western Forest Complex of Thailand. But a required 10 hours 4WD always served as a deterrent. So it was with great joy I followed up on a tip of these birds feeding on flowering trees near a sub-station of Kaengkrachan National Park.
Pictures aren't the best but it was a lifer!

These birds are found in Northern India but sometimes a few individuals are seen in Northern Myanmar and Thailand in winter...
