Slaty-backed Gull

Lampakbia, Petburi

This bird has been identified as a Slaty-backed Gull. The 1st record in Thailand. I saw it with Morten Kersbergen out at Lampakbia.
(as it turned out someone else a couple of years earlier took a picture of the same species but it wasn't identified at the time)

Congratulations! A remarkable finding and nice picture too. It looks like one of the gulls I pictured at the Sand spit at around the same time.
