Nakorn Nayok

From a patch of forest at Nakorn Nayok (next to the lower hills of Khao Yai) this incredible dweller of the interior forest popped up on a patch of grass for a moment. I reversed the car, got a hold of my new DSLR camera and held my breath! Wow! What a jewel! Praise God!

Peter this is an incredibly beautiful shot! The bird is beautiful and the image you captured goes far past being just a recording shot - this is art!

Love this male Eared Pitta photo;guess it hurts not having seen one,but we'll have to change that !Didn't realise it was this reddish,as we only have Suppalak's photo,which is much more brownish.Thanks for sharing.
