An excellent pic for indentification purposes! My oldest Thai bird book (1974) notes that the species was then rare, with a large colony 40 km N. of BKK. We came across a flock by the roadside near the Ban Nampu Ron Resort N. of K:buri in 09/2013 but the birds took fright as soon as I opened the car window, so I have only "grab shots" and one of some birds sitting in a tree.
