Fire-tailed Sunbird

Doi Lang, Thailand

I finally caught up with my last sunbird species. The rarest of them all in Thailand.
It only has been seen on Doi Pahompok and Doi Lang.
This was to be my 750th bird for my Thai list. Hopefully there should be more to come but it is getting hard.
This is a male in post-nuptial plumage.

Wow That's a great shot!
Sharp and in close range showing its 'fire-tailed' very well.
I haven't seen the species in Thailand yet. Hope they'll hang around until March.

Congrats on your 750! I got that one easily a couple of years ago at the same place ... now did you also get the Crimson-breasted Woodie?
