This is one of my favorite birds of Doi Inthanon. The bog at the Summit is the best place to see it.
It has a penetrating 3 syllable call pee--pee--pee in a descending sequence.
To see it well is very hard as it blends so well in with the moss laden trees of the dark montane oak forest.
