Reluctantly, we pointed the car south toward Las Vegas stopping just once in Hurricane at a car wash to wash the mud off the rim to smooth out our long drive. Ten hours later we arrived home to our joyous dog and thoroughly miffed pair of cats. Our adventure was over.
