Springdale’s beautiful setting is always amazing. We noticed lots of new construction since 2007....Springdale is growing up. Not sure if it’s good or bad. The Mean Bean was closed so we couldn’t get their excellent coffee for the percolater that we’d packed. When we stopped at the entrance to Zion National park and to purchase our annual park pass, the poor young ranger didn’t know whether to offer Peter the Golden Pass (seniors discount) – he’s still got a couple more years before he qualifies. Too bad though – would’ve saved us 70 bucks!
