These are representative bird pictures of the Provence back country area. Most of the pictures are taken in, and around, our large garden, where we feed the birds all winter long, with the exception of vultures taken in the Drome department and the Gorge du Verdon, herons taken in the local fields, the choucas taken in nearby Forcalquier, and the harris hawks display. The eagles are taken from our top terrace as they fly by, mostly with tripods and LOTS of patience and concentration. HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS GALLERY.
