Colette's cactus flowers

Colette has a passion for cactuses and has been collecting them for over 20 years. These are Colette's pictures of their flowering because they don't last, sometimes an hour, sometimes a night or a day.
Pictures taken with the Nikon D200/D80/D300 with the 17-55 and the 105 macro. Also with the excelent Canon Ixus 750 and G10, the old Fuji-700 and even the Canon camescope MVX2i.

Nice cactus flower collection! My ex-wife had a night-blooming cereus in hers. We only saw it bloom once in 5 years, but it was a lovely large white flower, and very aromatic. Cactus gardening can be a real passion. Lovely gallery!
