January-february 2008 small birds taken with the Nikon D300+Tamron 200-500+kenco pro 300 TC 1.4 and the Manfroto 190X prob tripod with the 804RC2 head. All pictures were post treated with Nikon Capture NX. The shots were taken through the windows from about 10 meters (30feet) around the feeding stands, in our Provence garden, about 500 meters(1500 feet)altitude. The wild birds are fed all winter long and are fairly familliar and unafraid.
