Miles Away...

Miles Away...

Eastern Ontario

Sometimes you can get so close as to see the pupils of a Snowy Owl. Then there was last Saturday. Yes, that dot in the tree is a Snowy Owl. After posting several close encounters my last few times out to this area, I was confident that it would be a piece of cake. Needless to say, I think my job of being Vatorman's tour guide for these mysterious raptors is in serious trouble!! (Composite)

Beautiful work! Beautiful sunset and layers of colors. Super composition. It is also quite nice to see a scene where you find your gorgeous Snowy Owls.

Hi Bill,
Nice seeing you on Saturday and following the reluctant and shy Snowies. I have a different perspective of the same image; but LightRoom is giving me problems so when I sort those out, I'll post my version of the same scene. Thanks fpr all of your help on Saturday.

Exquisite layers of colors, beautiful sunset. I am sure Vatorman will still want your services. V

I think this is a fantastic photo and I am quite sure the owl was happy to be far away from the cameras. This doesn't need the snowy owl in it to make it a stunner. V

Very nice view Bill...Those close encounters are worth their weight in GOLD!; But you can't say anything bad about an image like this. Well done!

Very nice and typical of where a Snowy would hang out.
