January 4th 2011 a partial solar eclipse could be seen. The eclipse was visible in Europe except northernmost Scandinavia, northern Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Russia, except the eastern part. The eclipse was greatest in the world in Sweden, 85.7% just south of Skellefteċ. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy in most part of Sweden.
