I did a double take on that one until I remembered that O Canada, like us, is on metric so that would be per litre. That's still actually fairly low by our standards. I filled up on Saturday at $1.419/L but I opt to use Unleaded 95; knock off about $0.15 for an E-10 blend which is the next lowest.
But I digress. To the photo itself, I've always been very partial to illuminated urban lighting in the dusk/dawn. They tend to define our environment and despite them being rather commonplace items, it's those very things that define the life of the area, the things that are often ignored but would be missed if they were to vanish. There's a mix of colours and luminosity in this that I really like.
