When I was about 11 my school arranged for me to have a pen pal in India. Her name was Anna and at that age it was wonderful to have a friend in such an exotic country. We wrote for years but as things go, we lost touch. Then last week, out of the blue, her brother Philip was able to track me down as he now lives in Canada. Last night we met for supper and it is such a joy to be reconnected with his family again. His sister is now a doctor and still living in India. I feel I have a new brother.
