The final result of this Harrisia sp. cactus effort to put out its "one showing only" bloom that started about 10 hours earlier.
Below, the results of my effort to capture a time lapse of the grand opening. This 5 second time lapse represents more than
2.75 hours of real time, with 33 shots taken in 5 minute intervals. In reality, I was taking shots every 40 seconds while hand
holding an iPhone for the illumination because I'm an idiot. The last half hour I changed to one shot every 5 minutes because
I just couldn't keep up the madness. The initial was overkill in the end but I wasn't sure how fast the bloom would open up.
Now I know that is a very slow process. I'm pretty pleased with the results, especially given the lame lighting set-up I was
using --- I make for one terrible light stand.
