Most of these were shot at El Mirage dry lake bed in Adelanto, CA. On my first trip for skate sailing, in '02, it was blowing about 30 and freezing cold. On more recent trips, we brought along a small landsailer. Also, a couple of times we happened to show up at the same time as the SCTA speed trials (see http://www.scta-bni.org for more info), hence all the campers, motorcycles, toy carriers, and so on.
