I really enjoyed going with you on this tour of rural Californis. I was born here & spent my growing years in a town called Oxnard by the ocean. It makes me homesick when I see your beautiful work. You shoot to capture images the way I do. Thanks for including the popy close up!

I did a search on Techachapi and Mojave and found these wonderful photos- they make me quite homesick, as I grew up in the city of Mojave- and I have an uncle that lives in Tehachapi and worked for many years in that cement plant :) thanks for sharing !
