Deep blue skies from the altitude, a palette of sage-brush, sun and adobe, wide-open spaces, historic native-american sites and influences, drool-inducing south-western cuisine, shops of native-american arts and crafts... nirvana!Then there is Santa Fe itself, the oldest capital city in the US, nesting at the foot of the mountains, with art galleries, a cosmopolitan, friendly feel and gift-shops including one selling chile-related items exclusively. What more do you want?
2004 saw me exhausted after my touring in Utah, so I contented myself with strolling the streets, eating good food and generally relaxing, whilst looking at arts and crafts, and taking the odd photo in between times. Which is why these photos are definitely not a travelogue; more a few abstracts which appealed to me.
