Usually I post pictures that have some aesthetic value to them, but this image was posted just because I think it's funny. There was a small earthquake that was centered about five miles away from my house. It wasn't a big earthquake, but it rumbled the house a little, then pushed it a sharp jolt sideways. Well, the FUNNY part is the way that Maximitas acted after the quake. At the time the quake hit, the cats ran terrified trying to find a place to hide. Once it was over, Max sat on the ground and just STARED at the floor for a LONG time! Like if he was waiting to see if it was going to move again! Very funny, I thought. :)

Poor Max! This is one ‘Stressed Pussy’ and you’re all laughing. He’ll need therapy if you keep making fun of his fears!

The blue object is a good 6 inches away from Max. He's not pushing it! He's just looking at the floor.

I didnt even hear about the earthquate. Didn it break anything of yours? or anyone elses. What a funny pose. Yes it looks like max is pushing the blue object, maybe trying to see what underneath caused the shaking. Glad you are allright. mom

I think you have it all wrong....It appears to me that the cat is actually pushing the
blue object with its head--is it a door? a box? or the cornerstone of the entire building?? Often, after an earthquake, cats will move entire structures back on their axis or foundations, simply by using their heads. Because of the tremendous weight, they move very very slowly when doing this. You were lucky to witness the event. They are usually very secretive....
