The unpopulated side of Maui. It was nice being away from everyone and driving without any traffic at all. The road wasn't so good, but it was definitely worth the trip to this part of the island. :)

I did this once and worried as the road narrows to one lane and not that great. I read later that my rental car was not permitted to go here. It is very rural and beautiful.
