This is a picture I took on my trip back home from Prescott, Arizona. This is out a ways east of Banning and 100 miles west of Indio or so on the 10 Freeway. As usual, I didn't slow down to take the picture. I just aimed the camera out the window with one hand and snap off a shot quickly as I continue driving home. I liked the way the mountains looked and thought the silhouette of the wind power plants would look good in the foreground.

Hi Paul,
This is a sensational good picture, the more so if you realise you just took it while driving. It proves again that you are a hell of a good photographer. There's a lot of beauty in industrial objects and I made a gallery of it. If you're interested, take a look athttp://www.pbase.com/roboele/science_fiction_near_rotterdam.
Friendly greetings, Rob

I think it's one of your best images (or just about anybody's for that matter).
It truly is an exceptionally fine moment, and just not the kind of image which
can be make without being thoughtful and deliberate about one's work.

Unbelievable, Paul, that you got this while speeding down the 10! Awesome shot! Great backdrop! Just great. Is that sepia?? Works great! :)

Great shot Paul, I am always amazed at all of these windmills when I drive down this highway. I sure could NEVER take a picture driving along with any camera I have ever owned and had it turn out so good. Good to see new pictures occasionally..keep it up. Mom

If you can get wonderful shots like that driving down a highway then I'm retiring my camera. :) Love the tones.

Excellent Paul! The tone of the mist/smog, the large windmill on the left, the mountains in the background. Not bad for a guy speeding along!
