This is a dried out white rose given to me by my best friend at her wedding many years ago when the rose was fresh and new. I've kept it safe much longer than I ever would have expected. The rose is dried out and dead, but our friendship continues to blossom and grow to this day. (Note: Today was the first day since I started doing this PaD thing almost 300 days ago that I TOTALLY forgot BOTH my cameras when leaving for work. I felt NAKED without my camera during the day! I didn't get home until about 8:30 PM so I was FORCED to find something around the house).

I have one very similar, sitting on my window sill. I just like seeing it every so often. Nice one Paul.

Lovely shot Paul. Especially with the little time you had!

What a fabulous image, Paul! Great idea - love the pure white background and strong light. Outstanding!

Beautiful! (nice reference to the withered rose but not a withered friendship) :)

A bit distracted this particular morning, eh, Paul . . . had a few too many fires going, huh. You've definitely kept this well preserved. What a nice thought. Yours may be dried & looking it's age, bt at least it's an actual white rose . .my PaD was a yellow carnation. Doesn't quite compare toa rose ^_^
