A few minutes after I took this picture, the seagull actually swooped down and took the Churro the person standing next to me was eating. They were happily eating it, and the bird just dropped out of the sky and swiped it! He was actually quite big. After that I decided he wasn't flying back and forth just above my head so that I could take pictures of him, but rather he was indeed surveying the 30 people or so standing on the edge of the pier and trying to figure out what they had that he wanted!

I always get just a little nervous when they pass directly overhead... Great shot!
