Re Concerned. No I don't go to theme parks. But I did once with a child. And as far as disney goes; at least they are not trying to say mickey mouse is real. Or that he took a voyage on a cedar Ark.
Concerned 14-Oct-2008 13:02
We have people making millions of dollars on a mouse (Disney) just in case you can't figure that one out, and this guy is concerned about someone making money off of the story of Noah's Ark. I bet if he had made Gotham City you would have been the first in line.

Heraclitus (540-475BC) Panta Rei (Everything flows) “Men are mortal God, and gods immortal men; living is death to the former, and dying is their life”.

I like Spinoza,s Monism. No I don't condone the waste of cedar for the reification of myth. Perhaps I would not complain if he had it made 2 feet long and shipped in from China like the rest of the crap they produce of low brow iconography...that figure looks so sad lying in that bunk.

"What a tremendous waste of good wood"

How original. We've got it. You don't approve of the builder's use of wood. Are you this judgmental all the time or just towards Christians?

Why don't you surf on out to the main page and lay down some logic justifying how you can be so self-righteousness yet insist that we are merely molecules in motion. Let me know if you have trouble understanding my question. And don't worry; this is not some trap. I'm just exposing your intellectual schizophrenia for what it is. You can't have your epistemological cake and eat it too. Either we're existing in a purely physical reality and to each his own or there is a God and you are not Him. Please, demonstrate how my statement is wrong.
richard Haden 13-Oct-2008 05:32
That looks like an inbreeding casualty lying on that bunk.
What a tremendous waste of good wood. Wake up people and smell the cedar involved in this man's scam. He's making money off popular Myth. The Ark story was never meant to be literal. Google the "ARK" and read the Islamic version. At least it claims that Noah took aboard about 80 people and his family to repopulate the earth. If you go with the old testament version then you have to believe that we are descended from similar inbreeding as with the story of ADAM and EVE. Are you people idiots or what. Perhaps you are the result of in-breding but I and my friend are descendants of the amoeba and Apes. there for we have been around longer than you biblically limited nonsense.

Fantastic!

Just amazing...really looks like it is sufficient to hold two of each species in the world too. Ok maybe it just held two of each species where Noah lived..but huge nonetheless...Does this ship really float? Is it seaworthy? Wouldn't it be odd if it had to be put into use again..I suppose it IS being put to use...it is doing God's work by opening up the eyes of believers and nonbelievers alike..Really awe inspiring. Hope to be able to see it in real life someday...maybe you should consider a world tour?? Thanks for it at any rate...anything to help to restore peopl's faith in this war torn and ravaged world!

I wonder if he will consider turning into a fashionable winebar, it would be a great place to hang out with, espeically if jesus was servering, turning the water into wine.

An amazing feet for sure but think of all the good that could have been done with the $1.2M it cost to build it.

This is an absolut Blessing from GOD that he has given you the ability to build the replica. I have no doubt that you have as closesly as imaginatively posible represented the truth. I wish to visit the Ark one day with my family. Xolani L Mlipha, Johannesburg-South Africa.

In Matthew 24:37-39 NIV Jesus said, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
Thank you for the awesome and sacrificial work you have done to give our world a life-size, walk-in, hands-on experience of this awesome truth so relevant, indeed urgent for our time.
God bless you for it!

I too live in Georgia, USA, and am in complete awe with what God has led you and your son to accomplish. I had always wondered just what Noah's Ark would have looked like, and when I would read through the Lord's detailed directions and measurements that He gave to Noah I could never comprehend the Ark in it's complete state. I think that God had a close friend send me an email regarding this so I could finally know just what His ark looked like and to finally understand just how massive and intricate it truly was. Thank you, my friend, for following God's voice and plan for your life by using your God-given talents to build this replica. As someone previously stated, the number of people who have and will see Noah's Ark through your replica will be limitless, as will be the number of people who either will be blessed and saved or have already been through God's plan for your life. May God continue to bless your family and all of the souls who will come to know Him through this..
God Bless,
Tim

I am in Georgia, USA and have such admiration for someone like you who will take your time and talent to honor the Christian faith. What an awesome sight to see! I am so glad this is shared on the internet since I will probably never get to visit the Netherlands. God richly bless you and no matter negative comments just keep up the work of our Lord and you will be rewarded in Heaven!

I think this project is awesome. Dingosimon should read his bible to see what a wonderful thing Paul did. God supported him and so should you. If you are going to nit pick all the electronics, then just don't look, but if I were you I would pray for forgiveness. I just wish I was there to see it in person.
Dingosimon 12-Aug-2008 03:27
It looks like Noah is saying to the Big fella in the sky " Strewth mate, I have had enough. I am pulling the pin. This cant work, have you seen all the mess down there "
Kathy Sherman 06-Aug-2008 15:01
