These are samples of photos from my professional website, PaulScharffPhotography.com. Sandy Hook is a seven mile, 1665 acre spit of land on the North end of the New Jersey shore, and is free of virtually any commercial development. It is home to 300 bird species and 50 butterfly species, and boasts miles of undisturbed ocean and bay beaches, salt marshes, dunes, mudflats, freshwater ponds, coastal scrub and shrub, a 264 acre holly forest, and habitat for migratory shorebirds.
