These are wonderful photo's and certainly bring back many great memories. I can fondly remember many fishing expeditions near the High Falls, my early schooling days in Charlton and what a wonderful place this was to grow up in the early 50's and 60's...thanks for posting them...gary

Some great shots of the area I grew up in in the 50's, 60's.
So much is unchanged, the photographer has a clear and precise vision.

thanks Nigel fantastic photo's, i have never been to Canada but my grandparents lived there for 3 years from 1910 to 1914 and my gt aunt and uncle lived there from 1910 until the 1960's when they died so these photo's mean a lot to me.it would appear that Englehart hasn't changed much since those early days? i don't have an address for where they lived but it must have been near the river as i have a photo of my uncle coming back from the island with a salmon. best wishes tony
