This is the macro lens I have been using. It is the front end of a Focal MC 80-200 f3.5 zoom lens that I traded for years ago as part of a Pentax screw-mount collection. It gives great closeups, filling the frame with a half-inch subject. It also allows me to zoom out to nearly the whole wide angle before vignetting, and has a three-inch working distance from lens to subject. Much better than the 135mm and 50mm lenses I was using before. The 50mm gives even more magnification, but it's too much to hand-hold for me and I don't get many in-focus pictures with it.
