I spent an hour this evening watching both male and female flying around and perching on the cranes. The female briefly stopped at the scrape with prey and almost immediately flew off with it. I never saw the eyas. The male is flyng and perching well. It was quite breezy and tripod vibration made sharp digiscopes difficult.
