With Two Cats in the Yard

Mellow and Jameela actually ran the house. We just lived there to satisfy their every need and add to their comfort. Like children, they required constant love and attention, had to be fed and taken care of on schedule. They determined the schedule. Resistance was futile. :-)

Now, both Mellow and Jameela are gone and we've added other cats from other places to this gallery. Some were in our yard. Some belonged to other friends or family members. We left our house on the hill with a backyard. We lost Mellow several years ago and two years ago we lost Jameela to fatty liver disease. We added Afreeta to the family and also Sweet Pea. From January, 2011 until February, 2012, we were blessed to have Scampers with us. He died suddenly at 1 year of age. Despite the loss, there's always the urge to take in another cat needing a home and lots of love. Now, we've added a blind cat named Shatar (which means clever in Arabic) to our home.

This is their gallery.
