Dear Mr. Hobson,

Your uncle, PFC A. D. Hobson, was a rifleman with Company B, 24th Marines. He was mortally wounded on Saipan and evacuated to the transport USS Callaway, where he died. PFC Hobson was buried at sea from the Callaway at 2100 hours on June 17, 1944. Please contact me at webmaster@ablecompany24.com if I can be of any further assistance.
