We are thrilled to receive the sighting of this bird. It was banded as a chick on Lake Sakakawea, a reservoir on the Missouri River, north of Bismarck. The bird you observed was banded in Parshall Bay of Lake Sakakawea on 7/13/2008 at ~1 day old. The chick was first observed to have fledge at 25 days on 8/6/2008 in the same location.
