About the colour balance ... This part of the bus station is lit mainly by a
huge red neon sign, whereas other nearby areas are lit with other colours of
light. As a result this part really looks very red to the eye, and I think
this shot gives a reasonable impression of what the scene looked like.

And no, I don't know much about the bee; but I have seen several of them in
the last few days. The "wings" are actually a fan which spins in the breeze.

(*) Update 2007.02.15: Apparently, the word "jyun" which is used to describe
the spinning of the fan is also used to describe a change of luck, so the
turning of the fan is associated with changing bad luck to good. The start
of the new year is presumably the time to make this work.
(It seems to work very quickly - there's already a girl running after him.)
