Each year, photographing the Philadelphia Flower Show presents many unique challenges: difficult lighting situations, tripods and monopods are not allowed, lots of people walking in front of you as you compose shots, and still others who bump into you at the precise moment you press the shutter release. Still, it is fun to see what results from the few seconds that you have to compose, focus and shoot! By no means do these photos represent the full 10 acres of displays at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. These photos were taken on Saturday, March 4, on Member Day and represent my impressions of "Enchanted Spring... A Tribute to Mother Nature." A few of the shots have been digitally altered in Photoshop.
