It was the Dollar Savings Bank. My father was an officer of the bank and worked in different branches for 47 years, this was his favorite building. He was there when the murals were painted. His name is Warren Loeffler Sr.

I remember going in this building with my mother to pay the new york telephone bill in the 70's I would look up at the clock before going in to see if the time was correct and then once inside I always admired the mickey mouse telephone they had on display After standing on the long line we went across the the street to shop at Alexander's
