Brytne, a 13-year-old female Sumatran tiger, died as a result of wounds she received from another tiger Harimau Kayuat at the Toronto Zoo.

Glad that you captured such a beautiful portrait of Brytne to keep forever. We lost a 1 year old cub Mali at our zoo last year that I followed from birth. She was also a Sumatran.

What a perfect portrait, wow ... I feel so sad that she died ... there are so few of them in the world. The animal world can be quite cruel and without pity ... that is life, human or otherwise.
