Wet Photographer- Falls Park, Pendleton, IN

Trying to shoot outside scenes while the weather is nice.
Went to a park today and it was full of photographers shooting.
Must be a mother shooting if she is will to stand in the creek
to get the picture.

I have in the past offered, but regardless of equpment, she looked like she was really into taking these pictures and was probably the "photographer" of the family. I didn't think the offer would go over- I would have given them my studio business card, but I was out. I have found around a 135mm lens produces a more pleasing portrait.

with a DSLR she might have gotten a drier angle but not necessarily better . . . I'll bet this comes out nice for her . . did you offer? Could have been interesting to see how it turned out =)

It was a small point and shoot camera, so not a professional, so the wading in cold water was probably motivated by relationship. Any type of telephoto and she could have shot a better angle from dry land. I have waded for shots but at least took my shoes off first ;-)
