To be quite honest, if you hadn't said otherwise, I would have assumed that this was shot on medium-format with Fuji Velvia film! It is, to me at least, the most beautiful rendition in a totally oustanding contribution of how landscape photography is meant to be done. It's one of the finest collections I've come across in over 35 years of being behind the lens. Congratulations, and how I envy you having ready access to such a wonderful region. As spectacular as Japan can be, (where I live) it has little to compare with this. Thanks for sharing your work. You should be proud.

beautiful image also - what is the purple or violet in the background and where? In relationship to something a stupid American would know?
