Northville, MI

William and Sarah Yerkes built this house in 1868 in Northville Village. Mr. Yerkes was a practicing lawyer, judge and Village President. The house was moved to the Mill Race Historic Village in Northville in 1973 and completely restored to preserve it from demolition. More Mill race buildings will be added to my History Not Far From Home gallery.

Beautiful house. It's like one of the houses I often see on the thriller movies :) Love the colours of the house and the details too :) Vote.

Good position in the frame and definite visual interest by the hedges through the foreground. This is nicely done.

Here is link to one of the artist that was on the grounds the day I was there.
