Nikon D80 - first feel

Passing by Jessops today, I saw they were letting punters 'test drive' Nikon's new D80. I'm not sure if this a nationwide thing or specific to Kingston (Nikon UK have their HQ in Kingston so it might be the rationale).
Anyway, it felt great to hold and I especially liked the 11-area AF. Viewfinder seemed bigger and brighter than the D50. 2.5" LCD is bright and crisp - also more menu options fit on each screen. I didn't have time to play with the in-camera editing but there seemed many options.
It only had the 18-70 attached to it (no 18-135 in store to try out). Attached my 18-200 and worked well.
Looking forwards upgrading the D50 soon but like most Nikon relases, I guess it'll be many months before I find one I can buy!
Nikon hand welded (glued) the SD card slot so couldn't stick my SD in and snap away. :(

My D50 was unintentionally optimised for 'Vivid' so apoloogies for the Jessops purple looking a little psycedelic!!
