Hello there these pics are great. I was born in El Salvador in 1978 and was adopted by an American family when I was two. I don't really remember much so I would love to go back and experience my culture. There is so much I want to learn. Keep the pics coming!

el salvador is a very beautiful country. i just came a month ago and we enjoyed the beaches, pools and las fiestas agostinas. we really had the best time in the world. willing to go back again very soon and we defenetley recommend everyone to go to el salvador especially salvadorians that are very proud of our beautiful country

The pictures are beautiful. I was searching on the web curious to see what kind of pics of El Salvador that people had up, these are great. My parents are both from El Salvador. I went there for the first time when I was eight. These pictures made me remember the good times that I had there as a kid. I hope that my husband and I can go back to visit the family that I have there soon.

Hey, great photos! Were you working for Peace Corps or vacationing or on assignment for work? The only thing is that you covered a lot of nicer areas...don't seem to show any of the rougher parts of life in E.S. Jah guide!

I will be returning to El Salvador for the first time since my adoption in March ( '08 ) with my family. We are excited to experience the culture, people and natural beauty. Fantastic pictures and I find El salvador a great country. Rocio & I went there in early 2006. Great people & very atractive to visit. We went to San adreas , santa ana and sonsenate. We were impressed & we would love to go back one day !!

well, i'm half saLvadorean, half cuban, i went to el salvador for the first time when i was 15. these pics bring back memories of one of the best vacations i've ever had. i'm now 21 and i can't wait to go back. I REP EL SALVADOR ALL DAY EVERY DAY ALL THE WAY FROM JERZEY BABY!!!!

This country is a paradise, I was born in El salvador but came to the U.S when I was 8 I have gone back several times and I always find this place beautiful, specially the people who are still there they are so wonderful and humble. Hey these pictures of El Salvador are beautiful...They really capture the passion that lives there. I have never been but my husband is from there. HE moved here about 10 years ago and we defenintley wasnt to go back someday real soon. Seeing these pictures make me so excited about seeing El Salvador for the first time!!!! Thanks again!

The pictures are great and have brought memories from my childhood, well done guys. I would like to see more modern sore of pictures that reflect the changes that El Salvador has had since the last 5 years specially in the main city San Salvador. Saying this does not mean that I do not appreciate the treasures that we have on this towns that still standing up regardless of the 12 year of war that those walls endured. So I compare this Towns with the character of every Salvadorean that I come across with, We Are good fighter and regardless of the circumstances and experiences that we have been through We are standing up. Hi, I just simply wanna say thanks and well done! and thanks you for taking me throu a journy in El Salvador. I haven't been to El Salvador since I arrived in Australia Qld in 1991. I wanna go back there for a holiday and visit so many places I believe El Salvador is very rich in beauty, I mean the people and the nature allaround. I've good memories of freindships and so many good times, doesn't necessarily mean that there were not times when I went throu hell but that is also part of the beuty within us that we take courage, I look at it as a part of life, looking at a challenge and beatting the crap out of it picking up the pieces, getting back on my feet againg.

I was born in 1965 in San Francisco, my parents immigrated to California in the early 60's. I went to El Salvador for the very first time in the Summer of 1970 with two of my siblings, I loved it! I returned again in 1975 with both my parents, but the trip was rather uneventful. I've not returned to El Salvador because it's a dangerous place. I had an uncle, who was a retired San Francisco Police Officer, who in '94 was murdered in Santa Tecla. My wife is from the Philippines, I've been there 5 times, and once lived there for 1 year, I'd much rather cross the Pacific Ocean in a 747 and stay in the Philippines, than risk my life in El Salvador. Sorry, but that's just how I feel. It is my impression that in El Salvador life is cheap, and there are many people there seething with vengance in their blood, just waiting to take action against those who murdered their loved ones in the Civil War. I don't want to be in this kind of environment. Better to visit Asia, it's more exciting and colourful!!! Carlos
